World Psoriasis Day in the Netherlands will be focusing on the aspect of living with psoriasis and co-morbidities.

We are planning a big patients congress in Congress centre Papendal (Arnhem) on Saturday October 31.
Speaker is Dr. Bing Thio, dermatologist at the Erasmus University Medical Centre in Rotterdam.
Speaker is Dr. Gheorge Pop, heart specialist at University Medical Centre St Radboud in Nijmegen.

Our theme of this year is: Sick Of Your Skin, or Psoriasis And Co morbidity (having more than one chronic disease).
We also start this day the campaign ‘I am what I am’. 

There will be four workshops:
*Manage your medication,
*Side-effects
*Vitamin and Supplements,
*Mindfulness
(all speakers are connected with an university)

A few month ago, one of the most famous Dutch singers, Gordon, was interviewed in a leading television health-program. He told the world that he has psoriasis and he has big problems with it. It was a very good and upright interview. This singer, Gordon, will join us at the psoriasis day. We asked him to sing Gloria Gaynor’s song ‘I am what I am’ and we hope he will. The chair(wo)man of the day is Clairy Polak, the anchorwoman of a newsprogram on television.
