IFPA Strategy for Psoriasis recognition
Worldwide unity for people living with psoriasis
IFPA gives nonprofit psoriasis associations a global voice to campaign on behalf of people who have psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and explore the challenges psoriasis presents to the international psoriasis community. IFPA provides the unity that strengthens everyone's ability to support research that will someday find a cause and a cure for these diseases.
Specifically this is what IFPA does...
IFPA provides
a place for nonprofit psoriasis associations to turn for advice and consultation so they can better serve people who have psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis in their country.
IFPA gives
members a place to exchange ideas on how best to improve the care of psoriasis patients.
IFPA supplies
the expertise and encouragement for countries to establish national psoriasis associations where no associations exist so people living with psoriasis can find help.
IFPA members
assist with finding support for international meetings to bring psoriasis patients, physicians and researchers together to exchange ideas and increase their understanding of this unsolved disease.
IFPA provides
a forum for psoriasis associations to report on the research conducted within their country and look for ways to encourage international cooperation to advance research.
IFPA represents
the interests of its member associations at international forums and meetings such as the International Psoriasis Symposium.
IFPA monitors
the worldwide problems people face when they live with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, clarifying their needs and working to ease their plight on an international level.
