Patient organisation meeting at the PSO2010
The Patients Organisations Meeting in Paris July 4th will have the theme Childhood psoriasis - a challenge for all.
Following the theme of World Psoriasis Day 2010 "Childhood psoriasis - a challenge for all", this meeting presented by IFPA and EUROPSO will focus on childhood and problems related to psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis in various age groups. Childhood patient cases from different parts of the world will be presented in this interactive meeting. Two patients representing the age group teenage will participate live and share their own experiences and history of living with psoriasis.
A panel of patient organisation leaders from the various IFPA regions will comment the cases and tell what the patient?s situation would be in their region in terms of access to treatment, costs of treatment, handling of the problem and other patient related questions including what kind of help and advice the patient could be offered by the patient organisation in that region of the world. The panel will be including representatives from Europe, Asia, Latin America, North America, Africa, and Australia.
Patients and doctors and anyone interested in these issues are warmly welcome to join and participate in the Patients Organisations Meeting.
